Mission Statement:

To make archery accessible to all by offsetting the cost of equipment and training for individuals
and families facing financial hardship — including veterans, individuals with disabilities, and
those struggling with mental health. We believe archery builds confidence, focus, healing, and
community — and everyone deserves the opportunity to experience its benefits.
Purpose:
ASR Outreach raises funds and gathers donations to ensure anyone, regardless of income,
ability, or circumstance, can participate in the sport of archery. Through partnerships, events,
and community programs, we support youth, veterans, disabled individuals, and underserved
populations.

Background:

Founded as an extension of the Archery School of the Rockies in Colorado Springs, ASR
Outreach began by helping a handful of local youth afford gear. It has since grown into a
recognized nonprofit serving a broad demographic, including military veterans, individuals with
disabilities, and low-income families.
Key Programs Include:

● Equipment Grant Program: Offsets the cost of bows, arrows, and safety gear.

● Veteran & Disability Archery Support: In partnership with Threshold Military Archery
Association, providing mental wellness, accessibility, and mobility-focused instruction.

● JOAD Club Scholarships: Covering league fees and competition gear for youth in our
Junior Olympic Archery Development program.

● Mental Focus & Recovery Training: Leveraging archery as a tool for healing and
self-regulation for trauma survivors.

Target Beneficiaries:
● Low-income youth and families
● Veterans and active-duty service members
● Individuals with disabilities (physical, visual, or cognitive)
● Individuals with PTSD, anxiety, or trauma
● Schools and community programs without archery resources

Community Need:

The cost of quality archery equipment is often a barrier, with starter setups ranging from
$150–$500+. Our outreach ensures no one is excluded due to financial limitations.

We currently serve the Colorado Springs region and aim to expand to underserved rural
communities across Colorado.

 Letters of Gratitude

To Whom It May Concern,

Our family is deeply grateful for Karin Bock and Archery School of the Rockies. Through Karin's generosity, my husband, our three children, and I have been provided with equipment, making it possible for us to participate in archery and compete at tournaments we otherwise may not have been able to attend.

Because of her support and guidance, our children have had the opportunity to compete and earn medals at multiple national and international tournaments. Karin's commitment to helping young athletes succeed has had a tremendous impact on our family and many others in the archery community.

We are incredibly thankful for her generosity, mentorship, and dedication to making archery accessible to all.

Sincerely,

The Olver Family
